Customer Review: Ended a 35 year old argument between my wife and I

This reading light has been a lifesaver for me (almost literally). I love to read in bed and my wife is not a reader. Over the years we have had tons of arguments about me turning off my reading light. Even the little clip on book lights reflected too much in the room for her to be able to sleep well. This light has solved my problem.
It lights the reader well enough for me to easily read and by its' nature does not send the light out into the room. The transparent light shield has a slight foggy look to it but does not bother me. I just have to prop the reader at the right angle and have no problem seeing the text.
It does use batteries at a pretty good rate but rechargables take care of that. The sony reader with this light is one of the best purchases I have made. Amazon really needs to develop one for the Kindle. Who would have thought that a book light would have saved a marriage.
