I bought this high-speed MSD (Memory Stick Duo) card to use with Windows Vista's ReadyBoost feature. (ReadyBoost uses a high-speed flash memory card to cache certain system files in lieu of using the hard disk, thus boosting system performance.) It works really well. I also tested its general read/write speed by copying large files as well as many small files. On my Sony VAIO laptop (with a built-in MSD reader) the speed is phenomenal.
This card is also compatible with the PSP, although it does not provide any speed advantage as the PSP is happy with regular-speed MSD cards (which cost only half as much). The high speed feature can be taken advantage of in certain Sony digital cameras when it comes to continuous shooting.
I have several Memory Stick and Memory Stick Duo cards and they have all been reliable and faithful.
BTW, the "PRO" designation in this product's name simply means it's more than 512MB. (The pre-512MB Memory Sticks carried no PRO designation.) This card is also MagicGate compatible meaning it can be used in certain Sony products that require copy protection schemes. Neither of these designations matters to most users. You can use this card safely in all Sony and other MSD-compatible devices.

Sony's DSC-H5 camera website doesn't show compatibility with this memory. I called Sony to check and was told it would work with DSC-H5, they just hadn't updated their website, so I purchased.
When I inserted into camera, I was afraid she'd told me incorrectly as I got an 'Access' message for about 60 seconds, then a 'Reinsert Memory Stick' message. Tried multiple times with no luck, and finally called Sony. Was told to remove the batteries (leave Memory Stick in), hold POWER button down for 15 seconds (to reset camera to factory settings), then re-insert batteries. Hey...it worked!
Not enough experience to really rate 5 stars, but since it works, and I could buy the high speed card as cheap as I could find 'regular' speed cards, I just tossed it in the 5 star category.

This product exceeded my expectations. I initially purchased this Sony Memory Stick to increase the recording time side for my Sony TSC-30/B digital camera up to the supposed 35 mins (according to the specs) standard. To my surprise it increased to almost 3 times that, at 1 hour 32 mins! The clarity is phenomenal. The standard Memory Stick runs the video at 30 frames per second (fps), this High Speed Memory stick takes it to 80 fps. I am loving every minute of it! Going thru Amazon was a big plus also. I got it at $149.00 which is just $30.00 over the standard retail 2GB price (around $120.00). At retail I would have paid twice the cost. 2gb of flash memory will not be destroyed at high altitude or dropped short of shattering the memory stick. A 30gb hard drive as in the iPod 30g (that my son has) is subject to air pressure, shock and temperature domain that a flash memory device will not be subject to. Because the hard drive spins to lift the heads above the disk, moisture from condensation will cause the head to crash if, brought in from a cold car and turned on. I do not know about the iPod but some larger devices have dew point detector that will not spin up unless the air in the device is at safe temp.

I originally purchased this memory stick for my PSP, but since I got rid of that I now use it in my Sony digital camera. I can take about 100 photos at 6 megapixels with this. The transfer rate is pretty fast. I manage my photos in iPhoto and I've had no problems getting the pictures to my computer. The best part of this little do-hicky is the price. You could pay 2 to 3 times as much in a retail store as you would on Amazon! No brainer.
