This is by far the best baby monitor that we have had. It is much better at transmitting without static than any previous monitors we have had. It has two other features that are especially great are the voice activated mode, it makes it where we don't hear all of her little tiny noises while she sleeps, but we still obviously hear her if she actually starts fussing. The second is the fact that the on/off switch is not also the volume knob, so you can turn it on and off without adjusting the volume. We also like the built in battery, so that if you want to take the monitor into another room you can just unplug it and take it without wasting batteries or having to find a plug in the other room. Great monitor.
