Customer Review: Nice Bag with Battery

The bag is a matching Sony Logo'ed Alpha bag. I bought it for my new A200. It fits nicely the camera an additional lens and some accessories, cords and charger. The bag is not huge like a pro style bag, and it has a peculiar addition of the fabric on the "Hinge" which prevents the top from folding completely over when opened, so, while it is new and stiff, it wants to keep reclosing on me. Mild annoyance. In addition, the bag could have had a zipped closure for the top. That is basic, even on the cheapest of camera bags. I will use and enjoy it, knowing I got it almost free, with the battery.

Great value, since the battery can cost $70 by itself. Bag has two roomy side pockets and a front compartment for filters, memory cards, etc. The main compartment is divided into two sections, one for camera, the other for lenses, flashes, etc. It would have been nice to have an additional divider to further compartmentalize the space. The outside of the bag has a nice Sony Alpha logo. The one annoying thing is that it won't stay open on it's own. The lid won't open past vertical and gravity always pulls it back down when you let go. But this is really a minor issue, considering the overall value.Customer Review: Worth it for the battery alone!

I got my bag & battery free with purchase of my Sony a300, but I know that after a little research, you'd have a hard time finding the battery alone for the cost of both the battery and bag. I personally really like the bag too - it's big enough (so far) for all I need to carry, but not huge. I love the clip on the front that makes it fast to open and close (I only wish the clip were metal and not plastic).
Unless you're just looking for a battery and find one dramatically cheaper, go ahead and get this accessory kit. You won't be disappointed.

I own the A350 and wanted a spare battery. For a few dollars more, I got the case. To me, it is good to have a number of cases. It makes sense when you are say taking pics out of your car (drive up, park) to take everything. When you are hiking, I take less. The Sony bag it in the middle. This is a nice "mid size" bag (I have 3 camera bags.) Fits the camera with a short lens (like the Sony 28mm), plus 2 extras. Room for accessories. For the extra few dollars.... it is a steal and, for me, fits a niche.Customer Review: roomy enough

The battery was worth the price. The main compartment has enough room to fit my camera nicely. It has enough room for an extra lense if your careefull with the packing. I usually take a 300mm. So that should give you an idea. Strap has held up so far on small trips. Side pockets come in handy for small manuals, maps, or other essentials you might want to take along as well.
