Wish I'd known about this product sooner! Just took it to Europe; folded up it fit perfect in the outside pocket of my suitcase. Unless you are fine with pulling out your camcorder to charge the battery, this item is an absolute must-have; extremely small and efficient. It's a shame that Sony wouldn't include this in the higher-end models (such as the HDR-HC3). Pick this up today!Customer Review: Nice Charger

Charger works great. Batteries plug in well, just don't force them in. The contacts are small on the battery & the charger so it should be common sense not to force them, it is electronics. The spades on the plugin' side fold down for ease of storage.Customer Review: IT WORKS!!!

I am not an expert when it comes to this sort of thing, but I have used it for over 5 months and it works like a charm. It charges the battery (FP-71) quick and thoroughly. In short, if I lost it I would replace it with another of the same product.
