I am someone who is very picky about how their home stereo sounds and this one is awesome ! For the price this setup cannot be beat. Only two things that bugged me, number one it does not seem to like some burned dvds and second it wont let put in a new cd/dvd while one is playing. You have to stop whatever song you are listening to while the tray prepares to load the new one. All in all a great value with clear sound, and great bass.Customer Review: Great system

We love our new sytem. Would be better if it had more the one audio optical input. Also the sound is great. If you are looking system for a huge room (ours is about 13'x13') you may want something with more power. It's terrific for our space, but if you really want to "blow your socks off" volume during the movie (where you can't hear someone next to you) then this isn't your system. I bought this system used and once it arrived boy was I pleased. I have the system in my living room area which approximately 20 x 15, and the systems THUMPS! I could even hear it upstairs in my bedroom with the door close and in my garage on the main floor. Overall the system is great, its perfect if you have a SONY Bravia TV so that you can Sync the two products.....I'm still working on purchasing the 46" Bravia TVCustomer Review: Excellent and Affordable Home Theater System

We just purchased a Samsung flat screen TV and noticed after installing it that it has very weak audio. We had already spent more than a $1,000 on the TV so we didn't want to overspend to obtain quality sounds; therefore, we decided to search Amazon for some options. We came across this system and decided to go for it. We love it! It fits perfectly in our livingroom and provides exactly what we wanted.Customer Review: very happy with this!

could not have been easier to set up. the sound is awesome......I used an optical cord from a blueray player to the receiver input and an HDMI from the blueray to the 1080 HDTV. this thing shakes the room! You will hear some of the "smallest" sounds recorded in the video. This was a VERY good choice....and thanks to the other reviewers that recommended it. That helped with my decision to buy this one.
