Received mine yesterday, was to be delivered by 12/9 but came the next day. Very easy to hook up. Great picture and sound, everything it was advertised. Got a great price with free shipment. The only thing I made a mistake on was thinking that it had white glove delivery, my mistake since amazon only has white glove delivery on the products they sell and not from a 3rd party. I've had this TV for about a month and couldn't be happier. (I'm also happy to be done with comparing 30 different models of big screen LCDs every time I go into a store!)
I debated between this and the Samsung LN52A650. Side by side the Samsung's picture seemed brighter in the showroom. But then I decided that it was almost tooo bright. The other major factor was that the Samsung A650 has a shiny screen like the plasmas do even tho it's an LCD. I'm so glad I didn't go with that as our viewing room has a window at the back and there's plenty of reflections on the screen in any black areas of the picture.

Good job Amazon.com! This purchase went just as you promised and as I expected. The product is as described, delivery was on time and billing was flawless. I'll buy from Amazon.com again. As for the 52" Sony HDTV ... it's perfect for my situation. It's in a large family room that has lots of natural light, upgraded to a HD cable signal, viewing angles are good ... also paired with a Sony PS3 for blu-ray service and the internet browser. To be honest i was hesitent to buy online.But the tv was priced just right.So i bought it,only to have amazon cancel the order the next day! The price was wrong on the website.It was actually two hundred dollars more.So i paid the diff,tv shipped really fast.Got it in two days by pilot.Just like if u bought it from sears, they set it up and everything.Best tv out there,was going to buy xbr6 but the w is just as good and a thousand dollars cheaper, by the way amazon gave a one hundred dollar gift card for the misprice. amazon, great prices,fast shipping,great customer service. Once I settled on the Sony 52" HDTV, I priced several sellers and found the Amazon price to be very competitive. However, what clinched the sale was the home delivery and set up (complete with removal of all packaging). The whole process worked to perfection, with the television arriving in a timely manner and the set up team doing an excellent job unpacking the set and placing it into operation. The television itself is a marvel and works especially well in a room that receives a fair amount of sunlight during the afternoon. Needless to say I'm well-pleased with my purchase and the sales process.
