After doing quite a bit of research, I narrowed down the field to this TV and the Samsung equivalent. The picture is great, there are plenty source inputs, and the on-screen set up is intuitive enough to navigate quickly. I ordered the TV on Sunday afternoon and it showed up Wednesday morning - excellent service from Amazon. And the price was lower than the local sale prices and even Sam's Club. Like most big screen shoppers, I did a ton of research and ended up with the 52W4100. I got it last week and couldn't be more impressed. The SD channels look good, the HD channels are unbelievable. I've got a room with a ton of windows and the matte screen really does a nice job reducing the glare. I really like the look of the whole package. I can't wait to get a BlueRay player. this tv is a work of art. when you get a show in high def you might as well be there instead of watching the show. The set up was great. It took us longer to agree on a tv stand then it did the TV. The only negative is the sound. We've gone from a projection tv to this Sony and my husband does not like the sound on the Sony. We've hooked it up to our stereo receiver and speakers and now everything is great.Customer Review: Just what we expected..

We were impressed. We were looking for same equivalent of tv with the Samsung brand..it took us awhile to decide and were so relieved we went with Sony.Whew! Sleek-looking, picture is great, no need to close our windows when watching tv because no more glare!What a difference. Picture and sound are great. Lives up to all my expectations. Using it with Comcast CableTV. HDTV crystal clear. Plenty of inputs. TVGuide feature works with cable, but only displays basic channels. I use the TV input (direct cable feed) for live HDTV, rather than the Video (DVR connection) or Component (HDTV and up conversion) inputs that are connected to the cable box.
