Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sony Bravia V-Series KDL-40V2500 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

Customer Review: Timid
Summary: 5 Stars

Having been warned numerous times not to purchase a major electronic item on the internet, I choose to ignore them and ordered this item from Amazon. It was 20 % less than I could find it at any big box store and Amazon provided free shipping. It took nine days to arrive, the carrier made an appointment for delivery, delivered as scheduled, brought the unit in, unpacked it, set it up, turned it on, allowed me to evaluate it and departed, all as advertised.
It replaces a 10 year old 32" CRT that I thought was still performing well. I am overwhelmed with the quality of the HD image and this set.

Customer Review: Excellent Picture Quality
Summary: 5 Stars

If you are looking for the best picture quality in an LCD make sure to look at the Sony Bravia TV's. This 1080p set is well worth the premium price. If you see this TV side-by-side with other sets you will be blown away. The built in speakers are very good as well and I am very pick about sound quality.

Pros:
- Picture Quality
- Color Saturation
- Black Level
- Wide Angle Viewing
- 1080p
- Lots of inputs including 2 HDMI
- Bravia Engine
- Built in Over the Air HDTV

Cons
- Slightly Pricey
- No PIP

Customer Review: I cant stop Loving it
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this TV... I originally got it strictly for watching tv in hd but after i bought my xbox 360 i hooked it up to it and my video games look fantastic. Personally if you are looking for an HD movie experience, its much cheaper to buy an xbox360 and then buy the hd-dvd player for it than it is to buy just an HD player for this bad larry. But anyway, i love this tv, hasnt given me any problems, and the fact it has 2 hdmi ports untop of the component cable input and all the other inputs it has, it really is so versatile. This tv is a perfect example why sony makes the best HD tv's

Customer Review: Bravo Bravia!
Summary: 5 Stars

Excellent picture, great sound, slim and light weight. I especially like the 2 HDMI outlets, though I can't say as I see a whole lot of difference with the HDMI cables vs. the component cables. Note: I purchased 2 HDMI cables through amazon for 5 bucks each, and they work beautifully! Save yourself some money and bypass the box stores! As far as "Ghosting", the presence of pale images on a black screen, there IS some, but only if a signal is not detected, and it's not enough to bother me given the spectacular picture this unit otherwise delivers.

Customer Review: Best TV I owned
Summary: 5 Stars

This TV works well with my FIOS HD. Very clear picture. Haven't seen the black round shadows yet (which some owners have commented-on) during dark scenes. Great for watching football and basketball games - it's like you're in the stadium. Some of the non-HD shows are grainy, but mostly, even the standard digital channels are clear. The clarity of the nature shows are stunning. Makes you really appreciate the beauty and majesty of God's creation. This is like transitioning from the old B/W TV into color TV.
