I did TONS of research, and I'm not being light on the product-Sony hasn't always been the best at making tech products, but, after spending an additional $60.00 on a tripod, case, screen cover, ETC, it was all DEFINITELY worth it. Just check out Youtube videos of nerds unboxing it, and you'll see how actually impressive it is. 3D glasses-free on-screen effect, 1080i Full HD video, Full HD pictures, super-easy setup, 3D panoramic mode, ultra-fine "EXMOR R" image sensor, for INCREDIBLE auto-focus, fast zooming, speedy facial recognition, and light adjustment. Great flash. 3.0 inch touch screen. Water proof up to 16 feet, 8 inches under water, shock proof from a 5-foot drop onto solid concrete, scratch-resistant screen, though NOT SCRATCH PROOF, dust proof, and weather proof from 14 degrees F to 104 degrees F. panning options, as well as a flip-book feature, with 10 frames per minute, and a neat new 3D invention called "twilight mode," in which you capture many pictures at a super high frame rate with a sweep just like panoramic mode, except they get patched together into one image with true depth, not your pop-uppy, annoying 3D in some movies and devices. There's even a built-in accelorometer, so when using twilight mode, you tilt the picture, and it shows the side of the object/person as you move, just like in real life. This effect is also in 3D. 16.2 megapixels, and 4X optical zoom, plus enhancing images options and on-screen video editing. The box comes with a driver Cd-rom, lots of papers, the camera, a USB AC wall charger, a mini-USB to USB cable, a strap, a type-N sony lithium ion battery, and of course the camera. It also comes with a stylus, for some reason. The touch screen's the size of an iPod touch, so it's fine to use without the stylus. It accepts all SD cards, sony mini memory sticks, and works with your basic mini tripod. Fits into small pockets, being the thickness of a large cell phone, and is made of a solid alluminium unibody, with a rubber waterproofing gasket, and a snap-open lense cover. really good for guys in black, silver, and even light blue. Great for girls, with lime green and pink. 5 stars overall. perfect product. Sorry about the wordy review, but that's pretty much everything one would need to know. I would definitely buy it.
