It's small, it's easy to use, the battery is rechargeable, the pictures are great. What more could you want? There are all the features you'd expect from a moderately priced camera, and if you don't want to use the features, it's easy to ignore them. No problem with battery life, or inserting or removing the memory stick. It fits in my purse, so I'm likely to have it along when I need it. The instruction manual is even easy to use. We bought this camera as a Christmas gift for my niece and she really loves it. She had another pink slim camera made by another maker that she was always complaining that the batteries ran out too quickly. This Sony model has a long battery life and it's also rechargeable so that's particularly nice. I received this for a gift. I had an older, similar model and wasn't thrilled about getting it again. WELL the improvements are AMAZING!!!! I love that you point the camera on a subject and it makes sure the picture is centered. It is small and compact and the picture quality is the best. It is easy to download the pictures on my computer and share them with all of my friends. I love the color too. Sony is the best.Customer Review: Awesome point and shoot camera

I bought this camera for my 12 year old duaghter, she used it several times and the pictures are just amazing, she doesn't have to do any manual adjustments, just point and shoot, and most of the pictures are ready for print. The only issue I see is a common issue to all non-DSLR cameras and it's the lighting conditions - when taking pictures at night the pictures are often blurry with no option to fix them.

I also own a Sony A700 but it is a big camera to lug around all the time. I wanted something small that I could throw in my purse to carry all the time. This camera is wonderful. I get great shots in all kinds of light, the pictures are clear, close-ups are amazing, it's fast and the battery lasts a long time. The only thing that I would change to make it even better, is more optical zoom.
