I purchased this product Through Amazon, and it was delivered sooner than I had expected it. To date I have not used it other than to familiarize myself with it's operation. The spare Battery does not work with the Camcorder because Sony changed the chip that recognizes the Battery so it only uses Sony brand Batteries, which are quite expensive. Good news is that I am getting a credit for the value of the spare Battery. Am satisfied with this purchase thus far.
