Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sony DRBT22 Wireless Stereo Headset

Customer Review: OK, but could be better.
Summary: 3 Stars

The styling and functionality of these is great. Despite folding up quiet small they also seem to remain very strong and consturcted well unlike other folding headsets. Main issue I have with them is their primary function, as a BT wireless headset. No matter what device I have them connected to, my cell phone, laptop or my Cowon s9 they drop audio. I have tested other co workers BT headphones on the same devices with no issue.

Customer Review: A little annoying hiss...
Summary: 3 Stars

This is my first stereo bluetooth headphone, so I can't really compare with any other. But, given the good reviews from this Sony model, I was hoping for a little more sound quality. There is a constant annoying hiss and the sound is loud, but not really clear, mainly with weak bass. The price was reasonable, the battery life is great, but I'm kind of sceptical with bluetooth stereo headphones sound quality since then...

Customer Review: Not that good
Summary: 3 Stars

I was unsatisfied with this model because the sound wasn't that clear and I couldn't pair it with my laptop. But I gave to my friend and he could pair it with his laptop but still the sound is below the expectations. The other thing is that the mic is built in and not sensitive enough to get your voice if you sit beside the TV or other people. I would not recommend it.

Customer Review: Huge disappointment
Summary: 2 Stars

I'm not sure how so many people have given this a good review. The sound quality was average ($10 earbud quality) when connected to my computer running Vista. The sound was very crackly when connected to my Samsung i760 smartphone (only "stereo headset" service was available, not handheld). The headphones would connect to my computer running Windows XP Professional, but no services could be used (headphones did not work).
The design is very flimsy as others have said. I can't believe Sony sold these for $100 (Best Buy still does!). They look like they would break if I sat on them wrong.
I intended on using this headset for three purposes. 1:headset for PC gaming 2:headset for talking on phone 3:headphones for listening to music on phone. This headset failed all three. The mic works, but cannot be used in conjunction with headphones. The device could not answer calls on my phone. The music quality was terrible.
Avoid these.

Customer Review: Works as advertised; hurts my head
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought these headphones to use with my 2G iPod Touch with the 3.0 update. I was a little nervous, because the impression I get on the Apple forums is that the Touch won't pair with all headphones. I paired it with no problem (after charging for an hour or so) and it worked exactly as advertised. You can play and pause and adjust the volume. (You can't rewind, fast-forward, or skip songs, because the Touch only has A2DP.) I didn't find the range very big -- when I walked into the next room, it started to break up.

However, I found these headphones very uncomfortable. The earpieces felt very hard on my ears, and the plastic hinge at the top of headphones pressed against my head. Granted, I'm generally more sensitive to this sort of thing that most. But if you tend in that direction, I would look elsewhere.
