I Purchased the Sony DVC-60 PR/5 Premium Minidv Videocassette (5-Pack) because a friend said You have a Sony Camcorder maybe you should use a Sony Video cassette. I have been using Sony Tapes every since and am very happy with the video's that I get with my camcorder. I have had no tape problems and plan to continue using the Sony DVC-60 PR/5 Premium Minidv Videocassette's.
Customer Review: Sony DVC-60 PR/5 - Blue Summary: 5 Stars
Great product!
Converted all video taken to DVD then reused tape over and over.
The Sony brand has worked better than the TDK or Panasonic product used previously.
No drop outs or annoying distortions.
Did have to buy and routinely use the Sony head cleaning tape for the Sony miniDV Camcorder.
Pricing from Amazon for all items were great!

I recently began using Sony DVC mini tapes because my experience with
The DVD+R discs have been more than positive.
I love the fact that when I upload from my camcorder to my computer, extracting the information from my Sony DVC tape-then I edit using my movie edit program, The finished product on the Sony DVD+R looks fantastic. The videos look beautiful
Customer Review: Solid tapes for SD footage, can't beat the price Summary: 5 Stars
These tapes are my standard when shooting with my 2 Panasonic PV-GS300's they are rock solid tapes, always record well and playback fine even 2 years after they were recorded. They are a great value. I keep about 20 to 30 around my shop at all times for my shoots. If you are shooting SD video and need cheap, solid tapes, these are the ones you need!
Customer Review: good tapes Summary: 5 Stars
no problems for me. If you have problems with recording or playback on these tapes, consider that each tape brand uses it's own lubricant and using these tapes with different camera/tape brands may cause drop-outs during recording or perhaps just problems during playback. Don't mix tape brands in your videocamera, be consistent.
