Customer Review: Great Workout Aid

I use this to play workout videos as I exercise, and for that it works great. Small footprint, clear picture, loud enough to hear the directions. I keep it plugged into the wall so battery use isn't a problem. I could see how trying to read subtitles on it might be a strain. I wear fingerless workout gloves when using it & even then don't find the controls hard to use at all. For a reliable sit on a shelf exercise DVD player it's great!Customer Review: Great for kids entertainment!

I really love this device, I bought it for keeping my daughter happy watching her favorites movies. The resolution and sound are excellent. Battery life is real good and in general the equipment is very well designed and built. It is able to resist normal use and some accidental events. Highly recommended.
Only thing is that now I am living in Australia and I would love to be able to see region 4 movies.

Our older Sony 8 inch DVD player was stolen from the car and we replaced it with this player. You cannot go wrong with the Sony portable DVD player. Sound is good, picture quality is great, easy to move from car to car... too easy if you forget to bring it in the house at the end of the day, battery life is good but we use it plugged into the cig lighter most of the time. With a 9" screen, most in car DVD players don't even come close. The picture quality is spectacular! Not that my two year old cares too much. Nevertheless the battery life is almost 6 hours and this is with a very bright screen. Remember to turn the screen brightness down when it starts to get dark out. We only use it for long trips, this gets her excited to be in the car for such long periods.Customer Review: Outstanding DVD Player

Outstanding. We just purchased this dvd player to replace another portable dvd player that finally stopped working. The picture is great. Sound is okay, but if you put earphones on it is perfect. Very easy to use. The menu button on the screen allows you to skip all of the previews on the dvd and go directly to the movie. I would definitely recommend this dvd player to everyone.
