I gave this as a gift. The person receiving the Sony DVD player has told me over and over how much they like it. After all, it is a SONY..need we say more? Great! Highly recommend. Easy to operate remote control. Very happy with this DVD player. My old one was 6-1/2 years old and went out. Checked out Amazon reviews to see what people had to say. This has been a completely satifactory product. We get a lot of old shows from Netflix and with our previous player up to 50% were not readable. With this player we have not had a reject, and we don't even have to clean the disk to load it.Customer Review: Great DVD

The first week the performance was bad, because most of the DVD just never play, I don't understand why, but after reset the option to resume the DVD the performance was excellent.
I really love it, because was cheap and Sony.
