Incredibly easy to install, great picture, easy controls. If you're looking for an easy to use, reliable, DVD player to complement an extensive system or to start a small system, or just to have a second player in another room, this fits the bill perfectly

I am thoroughly satisfied with the quality projection of the player. It gives instant loading and the different programs afford me the most suitable effectiveness for all the formats it receives. I also like the fact that for a thin height and "not so big" player, it brings audio projection for DVD's and CD's to a very clearly proficient level of ear appreciation. Can't ask for a simpler set up. The unit was up and running within a few minutes and it performs as advertised.
It is versatile in that in addition to DVDs, it can play music CDs and display JPEG photos. I am very happy with the unit.
I was especially pleased with the speed in which Amazon delivered the product especially since I opted for the basic ground service.

I guess you really can't go wrong with anything Sony. This little DVD player looks great, plays great and is really easy to use. I LOVE IT! The remote is nice, too.
I'm just really happy with it - and it only cost $50! I almost bought a second one for upstairs, but I just never use that tv enough.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice DVD player.

What more could I ask for? It's nice looking, sturdy, well engineered, has a clean, stylish, uncluttered Sony appearance, simple front panel controls, an excellent remote, takes milliseconds to install, and performs flawlessly. Then as if that wasn't enough, I think about what I paid for it and I just *giggle*. It's a great DVD player. For the money, it's a *fantastic* DVD player.
