I was very disappointed with this dvd player. I hoped that Sony would make a better quality dvd player. This one lasted about 3 weeks of light usage before it started to freeze up and skip on even new dvds. On top of that, when we returned it to amazon they did not refund the purchase price. Apparently it costs $13 to restock these pieces of junk to sell to another sucker. Please do not waste your time on this one.Customer Review: Didn't last one month

Very disappointed with the product and the "warranty". Purchased from Tiger Direct through Amazon mid-April. HDMI port failed 3 weeks later. Unit will not sync with my new Bravia TV per Tiger Directs description. Company is making me go through Sony for repair. Will NEVER buy from them again!Customer Review: BROKE AFTER 2 MONTHS!!!!

The spin motor broke after 2 months and it cannot read any DVDs. Nice Sony, 2 months. . .Amazon won't return after the 30 days. I'll call Sony now which will be quite a hassle. How about just making a good product instead Sony?Customer Review: 1 year and out

Just like some other review it worked exactly one year just enough for warranty to expire and then stopped recognizing disc. Moreover it can not play discs from different regions rather than the U.S.Customer Review: Very disappointed

This machine is NOT an "all regions" player as it was described. I couldn't even find a hack to make it work. A big waste of money.
