Customer Review: Excellent Replacement Tips, Horrible Packaging

Sony's Hybrid Silicone eartips are my go-to tips for using with the majority of IEMs in my collection including my HiFiMan RE0s, RE-ZEROs, Meelectronics M11P+, Thinksound TS02+Mic and so on. No other eartips are as durable, versatile or as comfortable as the Hybrids.
That said, I cannot stand the packaging. Why Sony doesn't allow users to buy four sets of eartips of the same size in a single package boggles the mind. From a marketing perspective, I'm sure Sony is perfectly fine with selling them in packages of four different sizes because this means that users looking for a certain size will keep coming back and buying a new pack for that one size that they need. This annoys and infuriates me to no end but, fortunately, there is eBay and clones of Sony's Hybrid tips, which I will gladly buy since, not only do I get more than four pairs of eartips, I can pick and choose only the sizes I need and nothing more.
So, until I can buy a four pack of genuine tips in a single size for the same price, it is unlikely that Sony will receive another dime of my money.
Sony really does have a great product here but the way in which they package that product ruins it.

I'm sorry but this is a complete ripoff. When someone buys the original earphones (hopefully they have some earphones already if they are purchasing replacement tips) he or she is already presented with various sizes to try on. There is no reason whatsoever to buy all four sizes again. Sure Sony is selling you four pairs, but you can only really wear one of them (comfortably).
If you have the earphones in your shopping cart right now and are considering purchasing these as backup tips, save yourself some money. Wait 'till you get the earphones, try on all the sizes, then come back and buy 10 pair of the actual ones you need for the same price from other vendors.

I agree that Sony is guilty of a true marketing error. If I could use the other sizes that came with my IEMs, I wouldn't be buying replacements. Sony really needs to market these awesome tips in single size packages.Customer Review: My ears don't change in size!

These are great replacement earbuds, but why does Sony sell a package with all sizes? This really doesn't make sense. Why not sell a package with three or four pairs of the same size? One SKU with large, one with medium and one small? Then you'd have some value for the money. Why should I buy two other sizes I will never use. I'm effectively paying $9 for just one pair. This is just completely stupid packaging. This is the only reason I gave it 1 star.Customer Review: Still too large

Bought this pack because the s,m & large that came with the earbuds were all too large. Trying the XS size, it is STILL too large. Completely useless to me.
