Buyer beware,If you use the amazone credit card and it says 12 months no interest and payment.Think twice.For some reason the credit card company is not honoring the amazone deal (no interest and no payment offer) when you purchase it from amazone.Keep in mind that from time to time its not offered,but even when it is offered or at least in my case the credit card company is not honoring the deal.Customer Review: great results with Sony CX12

Performs better than expected. Great images. Good size. Very convenient. Easy to use. Really like the touchscreen. Good manual control.
Negatives are few: Lack of windfilter for windy days. Intensifies the blowing sound. When dividing a scene it cuts the sound off 1 second before the end of scene. A little choppy result.
Overall great camera. Good battery life.

I ordered whole accessories and started to use my fabulous Camcorder.
Records stunning, incredibly detailed video footage in the clarity of 1920 x 1080 Full High Definition resolution. You can touch the screen of HD TV when you see it. Beside amazing picture quality the sound is great too.
I suggest HDMI cable connection instead of AV one.

I'm sure you read the reviews so I don't have to tell you the camera is good. What you don't know is that you need is a memory card reader(if not built in PC) so you don't have to use up the camera battery when you plug it into your computer. Connecting to your PC with your camera consumes quite a bit of power/charge. You can get memory card reader for about $13 at walmart.Customer Review: Great Camcorder

This item is a great little camcorder. I use it all the time for family gatherings. I also use it for medium to high-end video of landscapes, animals and a variety of things. Although it has image stabilization, I've found that a good tripod with smooth panning is essential for professional looking video.
