This product is only compatable with AIS (Active Interface Shoe) technology equiped cameras. I have a Sony HDR-SR11 with AIS but you can only use one accessory at a time. Meaning you can't use an AIS light with an AIS microphone. I contacted Sony personally and was told that there are no adapters for additional AIS ports. AIS is supposed to provide a convience by allowing your accessories to function without additional batteries or wires. The camera's built in microphone has poor audio pickup and there is no light for the video camera, only a flash for the photo's.
