Customer Review: Love this device -- didn't know I needed it so much!

Originally, I wasn't sure just how much I really needed this item, but I found it quite useful for more than I had planned on. This is great for recording classes and loading them into your computer. You can take a walk, listening to music. It's very small. I've used it for recording songs and even shared it with my three-year-old while waiting in the doctor's office. It did a great job keeping him quiet while we listened to his favorite songs over and over again -- at least he was quiet, right? It records the songs better with the use of an additional microphone; and the listening quality is better with the headphones or an external speaker (which plugs into the device -- note, it doesn't come with these extras.) Also, it plugs directly into the USB port of your computer -- no extra wires to fool with.
On the bad side: It's a little difficult to operate -- not too bad if you can handle the usual operation of a computer, but you have to devote some time to learning it and it isn't so user friendly as a computer.
Overall, I'm very happy with this device.
