I originally bought this alarm because it had the largest display. In addition to being easy to see, I also find it very easy to set (you can adjust the time both forward and backwards) and I like that the off button is off to the side and smaller. With past alarms I had a nasty habit of hitting off instead of snooze and not waking up until hours later... that's never happened with this one. There are definitely some more features that would be nice, but I'd rather have a basic alarm that meets my needs than one with lots of features that's hard to use and doesn't do the basic stuff well.Customer Review: Looked forever, this is solid and good.

After dizzying myself with the array of basic radio alarms, I got 3 of these, and it's been a dream. Easy to set and turn off (or I guess they call it resetting), simple to teach my kids to use. We use the 2 alarms all the time, music first, then buzzer when it's time to really go. The kids really like the system, gives them a little gentle leadin to wakeup, and then the one downstairs is the perfect way to get their butts out to the bus on time, watch them run out the door when that buzzer goes off. This is right clock for whoever wants to wake up on time and have something that looks good buy their bed. It is very easy to read and the brightness setting is quite helpful because if you always have it on the highest it can become a night light. The radio is pretty clear and and the beep it plenty loud to wake up anyone. For anyone who is contemplating this clock because of the negative reviews do not believe them this is a great alarm clock and if you don't take it so seriously as they did you'll see it to be a great product like I have.Customer Review: Awesome Clock/Radio for the money!

I don't know what others are complaining about? How much do you really expect for your money? This is a great alarm clock - several different alarms you can set AND my favorite - it has a button for going backwards when you are setting the alarm or time.
The numbers are big and easy to read and you can adjust the brightness.
If you need something to make your coffee in the morning, souind like a Bose radio and nudge you - this isn't it. If you need a good basic clock - look no further!

This is the best clock radio ever. The sound quality is good. It is easy to set and you can see the time clearly. We have had MANY clock radios over the years and they always seem to be missing something. This one has all the features that you need and it is easy to turn on and off in the dark. It also has a one hour sleep feature and it will turn off. I didn't want to buy this because it wasn't digital but my husband and I usually listen to news anyway. We love this radio.
