The continuously variable LED is wonderful. It allows for very low settings at night to allow keeping the room dark. It is a bit harder to see in the daytime if the setting is unchanged, but the adjustment is conveniently placed on the side so it is easy to adjust (I don't bother). The radio reception is fine, but the sound is a bit tinny. If you need a great sounding radio though, you won't find it at this price. I bought this unit for my guest bed room. Easy to use compared to other clock radios. Nice big adjustable brightness display for people that have poor eyesight with out glasses. Alarms are easy to set and select. Radio does not have a digital tuner, but has good sensitivity in both AM and FM bands (I live in a rural area) and pulls in stations load and clear. Audio quality is fair, but hey, it's a clock radio! A good value for the money.Customer Review: I like Sony products

I really like this alarm clock. I love how you can set it to buzz and play music next or vice versa. It is very nice and it goes with almost any decor I would think. (I am a college student so it goes good with anything in my room). I like the bright adjustment of the numbers and the alarm noise levels are fine. I thought that this way a great buy and I would recommend to anyone looking for a neat new alarm clock. :-)

She loves it!
My daughter really likes the large green-number display, the thin/tall size, and the ease with which she can set the time and alarm. It can set two separate alarms (radio and buzzer), which will be helpful come school time. And the radio does manage to pull in the "right" radio stations.
My daughter's only complaint: the case doesn't come in a Green color.

I was looking for a large display clock when I noticed your Sony large display LCD clock radio. I was not interested in the radio but needed a clock display I could read across the room at night. I received the product in a timely manor with no shipping cost. A pluss as I am retired and on a fixed budget. I found the clock easy to read and the green LCD numbers pleasing to the eye.
