Customer Review: Little Kitchen TV

First, they quit making this one. Good luck finding one.
Bad first:
1) The jacks for rf and video are located at the back, sticking out the back, limiting you from mounting it flush to the wall, which sticks it out a little past the cabinets. Would have been nicer if the jacks pointed down.
2) No digital receive. Had to buy a rf converter box to get any receive.
3) No HD. Everyone is just spoiled on this issue. The picture is just fine if you remember what good analog looks like.
Everything else is great. The sound is great, the radio is good, the CD player is good, but really, the best is the screen. It's convienent and can be seen all over my kitchen.
Note: If you end up dealing with "ruebean" good luck on actually getting your product. It was a beating!!! Took 6 weeks, slow replies on emails and nothing but lame excuses.

Bought this for space and for listening to music and the news while cooking. Am VERY happy that I did. Space is awesome; it fits my needs for CD/FM/and TV. (If I wanted to watch a big screen, I'd go to the family room anyway). Easy installation in the corner cabinet, no accessory needed. The reason for the 4 stars is that one of the stations does not have sound (haven't figured out what that problem is) and also the AM reception is very poor. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? Finally, wanted to point out that you may be able to find this product for half the cost --as I did at a local TV dealer.Customer Review: Happy with the Sony

So far so good with this product. I was surprised there was so little choice in this niche. Despite its great reputation I've had nothing but bad luck with Sony over the years. I was a little reluctant to buy this unit especially because the Polaroid was much less expensive, but I went ahead based on the other reviews given here.
Yes, the unit is pretty big and wouldn't fit under most of my cabinets. Fortunately it fit in the spot I wanted to put it. It installed easily and worked as advertised. The AM reception is not very good, but otherwise I have no complaints.

This was a Xmas present for my wife and she was very very happy with it. Audio and video were good. Installation was easy, BUT before you start go to Radio Shack and buy the 90 degree coaxle adapter, you will need it. Put adapter on BEFORE installing. I bought this as a gift for my daughter. It works well, picture is very sharp, sound quality good. I think they wish it had an IPOD dock as well But other than that, very satisfied. They did not have any trouble installing it and basic TV channels come in without cable hookup.
