I really enjoy this radio. The main thing is that it gets great reception. I read a lot of reviews of other shower radios before settling on this one and they all had one common problem: bad reception. The reception on this one is better than my other radios.
I wasn't excited about having to buy 4 D batteries to power this radio, because I like to use rechargeable batteries and you can't readily buy rechargeable D batteries, because there aren't any good ones made. However, it's been 3 months and no signs of battery life issues, so it's not that big of an issue.
I also enjoy how easy this is to use. The knobs are big. The display is clear. The buttons work well. At 6:30 in the morning, I'm only 1/2 conscious so a good, simple design like this one is appreciated. There's no seek for radio stations, but that's not a huge deal. I don't plan on changing the station 50 times while I'm in the shower for 10 minutes and the 5 presets. It actually gets in TV audio and I think some weather channels, but I haven't tried those, because as I mentioned, the 5 presets are enough for for me.
The CD changer is on the back, which might be inconvenient for some people. I don't care, because I don't use it. When I'm in the mood to play my own music, I use my iPod with FM transmitter.
