I bought this radio about four years ago and I'm sorry to say that I broke it (by no fault of its own, I was being an idiot) yesterday. I used it so much and because it had been so long, I worried Sony didn't produce it anymore. I was happy to see they still did because I already bought another one. After four years of constant use, I was impressed with its ability to work just the same as the day I bought. The CD players laser didn't become sensitive and the speakers maintained their sound quality. I also used it in the shower often and never had any complications with the moisture. Great on canoe trips and the beach!! Recommended!! (PS-It is a tad pricey, but in this case you definitely get what you pay for)Customer Review: What a surprise!!

I have really enjoyed this shower radio. It is larger than I expected; however, it has beautiful sound and reception. I am particularly impressed with the antenna. It is a small wire at the bottom of the radio, not the typical large metal antenna that is bulky and in the way and not helpful. The small wire antenna also has its own compartment you can easily store away.
Again, the sound is excellent. I unfortunately lost the manual;however, to my delight it is very simple to figure out, e.g., working the CD, FM/AM bands, as well as well as other available features. Since I'm not electronically inclined, Ive been very pleased with this shower radio ~ and, yes, I would recommend it. Thank you

Who doesn't love music with their shower? I originally purchased a much pricier player from The Sharper Image, which stopped playing within the first month. Luckily, still under warranty, I got a replacement. This one stopped after four months ... no longer under the 90 day warranty. So then I did the research and this one's the one. I love it. It's much more compact than TSI model, significantly sturdier, hangs from anywhere in your shower as well as free stands unobtrusively anywhere else, less expensive, easy to use and program, with a latching door that you know keeps the water out. Just an all around nicely designed, user friendly CD player.Customer Review: Worth the Money

I bought this radio as a replacement for my daughter's Jensen. The Jensen was not nearly as water resistant, and the reception was not as good (living in the country where it is hard to get a lot of stations anyway, this is very important). The other great thing is that the clock switches back to showing the time shortly after you change stations instead of continually showing the station when the radio is on. I would definitely recommend this radio to anyone. It is well built, has great reception and sound quality, and is very easy to use. It is definitely worth the price when you compare it to a lot of the other radios out there.Customer Review: I Love This Product

This little AM and FM shower radio with CD player is great. It is well worth the price, having both the sound and the quality of all Sony products. I don't use it in the shower, though, since I have a cheap little shower radio that works just fine.
I needed a portable CD player to use in Children's Bible classes and I didn't want to haul around a big boom box. Also, I have used it to accompany myself in musical performances. It works great for small classes and rooms.
I bought a cheap adapter so I wouldn't have to use so many batteries. I'm very happy with both products.
