I bought this a year ago and use it every day. It's been dropped numerous times (we use a strong suction cup hook instead of hanging it over the shower head-if you do this, restick the suction cup every few weeks) and it hasn't broken at all and it sounds just like new. The sound is great-loud, you can listen to CDs, radio (great reception) and TV, and program your stations for both TV and radio. Regular batteries last a long time-at least 4 months. I definitely recommend this one over a cheaper one we bought where the CD player worked maybe a week and the radio reception and control and volume/clarity were poor.Customer Review: GREAT radio

This shower radio FAR surpasses my expectations! I was accustomed to a cheapie shower radio that I use daily. All I wanted was something with a digital tuner. This also has a weather channel band, a TELEVSION band (great for taking a quick shower during a show you are watching, like sports) which simulcasts network television shows, and has a great sound. It's easy to use, easy to program, has a surprise CD player (which I didn't catch in the description), and sounds as good as any mini-boom box could. I bought it for the shower, but wouldn't hesitate to use it as a "regular" device.Customer Review: Worth Every Penney

Best shower radio I've ever owned. AM/FM/TV stations and weather. 5 presets for each. Very easy to use. Sturdy construction. CD player works great. Obviously, don't insert a CD into it or take a CD out of it while you are in the shower. It's waterproof, not made for underwater use.
Only possible drawback with the unit is that it's heavy, so I had to rig up a special holder for it in the shower. But with the weight also comes sturdiness. Other minor drawback is that I wish the volume could go a bit louder, but for shower radio purposes it gets the job done.

I heard that shower radios brake often! But this one is great! I have dropped it into a tub full of water, and onto the tile floor, still works great. And its really good with batteries. This radio works great. The sound is crisp, clear, and loud; and it takes up very little space in the shower. The CD player works surprisingly well considering it is operating in a wet environment. The digital tuning takes all the guesswork out of whether you've dialed the station in correctly (with 3 different users wanting different stations every time they get in the shower), and the reception is good. The only thing that could be a little better is the suction cup that holds the antenna wire elevated; it lets go every other day.
