After reading many reviews on many different shower radios, this was the only shower/radio/cd player I've found with good reviews, so I decided to buy it. I love it! It's nice being able to listen to the news in the morning in the shower, and the sound quality is great, totally clear. The only cons Ive found is the price, but it IS worth it, and the volume doesnt go up as high as Id like. Other than that, it's the best Ive found.Customer Review: Exactly what I wanted

So far so good. Previous people mentioned low sound and rusting but the sound's great and it's completely water proof. Ours gets soaked every day and it's in great shape. I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it. An added bonus is the tuner works really well. It picks up radio stations much better than anything else in the house. Ours goes from bath to kitchen back to the bath.Customer Review: I love it!

The Sony Liv Shower Cd Player/clock radio has far exceeded my expectations. I live in a rural area, and with other radios, I have always had trouble bringing in stations clearly. The Sony Liv has clear, crisp sound, excellent fine tuning, and the CD Player and clock are an added bonus! It's an excellent package.I highly recommend this product and would not hesitate to purchase another.

I was disappointed when Sony stopped making the previous model shower radio. I have 5 of them and prefer them to the Bose or Sangean radios I own.
But when I needed a 6th, I found out that the new model is just as good as the old. Sound is great, easy to use, best radios I have ever owned. I even have one in the garage for use outside. I've given many as gifts.

my mom has had one for years and hers still works great, and the reception is really good on mine even though I live in a rural area. I was a little concerned about the review I read about it getting water in it and rusting out cuz my shower is alot smaller than my moms, and my radio gets more water on it than hers, but it's has been used from 9/07 to 12/07 with no issues.
