I have had this radio for about 3 months now. It has everything I need for singing/listening in the shower or bathroom. It is easily portable and it sounds great (not like a tin can). Wish it had MP3-CD capabilities but I can live with just the audio CD playback. It doesn't seem to get mildewey(?) and I have not had any problems. I bought this for my boyfriend for x-mas. I wish I had kept it for myself! Great sound and reception. This is no comparision to all of those other little dinky shower radios on the market. It's sturdy and has a cool design. Finally a unit that gets decent reception in the bathroom. We easily programmed my wifes favorite stations. I think we got 5 out of the 6 FM stations she likes (102.7 was a little weak). You don't have to take it in the shower, the radio and CD both play way loud enough from atop the toilet tank to be heard above the running water. My husband & I have been EXTREMELY impressed with this radio/CD player! It is by far the best we've ever owned. The speakers are great, the clock is handy to have to keep on schedule while getting ready, & the CD player even offers shuffle & repeat functions!! It is very sturdy & well made. This one has it all: flat bottom for a shelf plus top loop for hanging; digital tuning for the radio - not the cheap dial found on other models; sealed CD player; totally waterproof even under the direct shower stream; and by-the-way terrific sound.
If you want the family to be happy with the shower radio, get this model.
