This is a classic little gizmo. We've used one since the late '90s and, even though the OFF button has long since worn through, it still works like a charm.
I've purchased others as gifts for bewildered friends and once they've spent a little time with it they love it.
Target and other stores have stopped selling them as off-the-shelf retail, but I hope SONY continues to make this little C-battery shower radio and doesn't screw it up with any "improvements."

Have had 3 shower radios before this one. This one is superior, by far. Great Sound. Radio really easy to hang or stand in shower or bath. I haven't taken the time yet to figure out how to use the other features such as weather. But, if you want news or music from the radio in the shower, i cleanly recommend.
If listening to something and it's time to get out of shower, it can be made loud enough to hear far away. Also has timer shut off.

The ideal for a product like this is that you buy it, use it, and never really think about it again.
This was purchased to replace a previous Sony product that never lived up to its sonic potential- you had to think about tuning it or adjusting how it was hung every time it was used. Ther Weather Band Shower Radio's sound is full and balenced, the controls are easy to use, and it functions well in a high moisture environment.

This is the best shower radio I have ever had. The reception is great (very clear), the digital tuner is a must, and it fits nicely in the shower. I have no problem finding radio stations, and you can save up to 10 preset stations. There are a couple of drawbacks...as far as TV channels, only able to get reception on channels 9 and 11. And, don't get very clear reception for the weather band. Other than that - I really like it and would recommend it.Customer Review: This radio is amazing!

I have never had a better radio.
I don't like the size and shape, but this thing is excellent.
I listen to lots of AM stuff and have had very many portables.
The Sony is the best I have ever had.
The sound is very good for a small radio.
The tuning is perfect.
The battery life is amazing.
I have tried so many other possiblities, and this is the best.
Forget the shower, you can use this radio everywhere.
