I bought this player refurbished for $15-20 less than amazon price and the quality is great. It looked new and had all the hardware and instructions needed. It mounts easily beneath a cabinet and has a magnetic remote. The sound is good, but not like what you would get from a pricier system. We are pleased with the sound, though. Other people have mentioned poor reception. Reception in our town of 18,000 is great. It has a plug in for MP3 players which works great. It comes with a little clip on the side of the unit where you can store your MP3 player while connected. Overall, it is great and I would recommend this product.Customer Review: Great radio.

My husband & I love this radio. He said it was a little tricky installing, but since we've started using it, he loves it. The sound quality is terrific. It does send the sound downward towards the counter, but its very clear. The CD player is also great. There are 4 options relating to the order you want the songs on the CD to play. We don't use the remote control because our kitchen is so small, you can reach the radio with just a few steps. But my sister-in-law has the same radio and says she uses the remote to turn the volume down when the phone rings. This unit has worked very well for us so far. We have using it for the past 3months daily with zero problems, I realize this isn't that long yet but so far so good. My wife loves the mp3 input and this radio gets almost every station we listen to in with very good reception. Better than some of the portable "boom box" type radios that we had placed in the same area. The remote works well and the cd player works fine with all our burnt cds thus far. This isn't the most stylish player on the market but it has to be up there for one of the most functional, especially for the price.Customer Review: Works Great

My Wife and I have greatly enjoyed the under cabinet radio. It works well, has good sound, the timer is handy. It does a good job of picking up radio stations that sometimes can be hard to get. The mp3 cord even works for hooking up to a laptop to listen to internet radio although I am planning to get an extender cord to make that a bit easier. THIS PRODUCT IS WONDERFUL. THE SOUND IS GREAT FOR SUCH A SMALL CD PLAYER. I HAD PRUCHASE ANOTHER BRAND ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND ONE OF MY CD'S WAS HUNG INSIDE THE CD PLAYER. I HAD TO TAKE THE CD PLAYER DOWN AND SHAKE IT TO REMOVE THE CD. THE OTHER PLAYER WAS A CHEAPER BRAND AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GETTING A CHEAPER BRAND. THE SONY PLAYER IS GREAT AND I HAD LESS PROBLEMS GETTING IT INSTALLED THAN THE CHEAPER ONE. I ALWAYS USE IT WHEN I AM COOKING OR CLEANING HOUSE. I JUST TURN UP THE VOLUME AND THE SOUND IS UNBELIEVABLE! MAKES CLEANING AND COOKING SOOO MUCH EASIER!
