I've owned the Sony Under-Cabinet Kitchen radio for about a year now, and overall have been very pleased with it. I use in mainly to listen to NPR while cooking/cleaning in the kitchen and have found the reception to be very good. I also use the auxillary input quite frequently and have found that to also be excellent. The volume and sound quality are as better than expected for the price range, and it works as good today as it did the day I installed it. I would purchase this again and absolutely recommend it to others.Customer Review: Looks good, sounds good

This radio is slim and modern looking. I was able to easily install it myself, and I am generally not handy. All of my stations come in just fine. The sound is great and the volume goes higher than I will ever need. You can choose extra bass, which is a standard feature in Sony products. You can also program stations of course. This radio/cd player also functions as an alarm/timer, which is handy if you don't otherwise have a timer elsewhere in the kitchen. The first unit arrived with a CD player that did no work. Amazon customer service handled the situation perfectly. I put the faulty unit back in the box, printed out a call tag they emailed me and put the unit on my front porch. UPS, picked up the old one when they delivered the new one 2 days later.
The unit has great sound, installs in about 15 minutes, and looks very attractive. It was a birthday present for my wife and she is thrilled.
Definitely a good value for your money.

My husband had no trouble installing the radio which is wonderful because, normally, anything simple turns into a major project in our house! The sound quality is outstanding, especially CD's. The remote control is a great feature. We've had two or three radio/CD players like this over the years, but the quality wasn't as good. We also made sure we installed this away from our refrigerator and microwave. No reception problems whatsoever. I would recommend this radio to everyone. Cathy SouderCustomer Review: Good choice

We have only had this player for about a month but so far, we like it very much. The sound quality is very good - best of a number of under cabinet players we have had over the years. It is easy to use and we really like the Audio In feature for an MP3 player. The only thing we were looking for and this player doesn't have it, is a light to illuminate the countertop under the player. Time will tell concerning reliability, but at this point we would definitely recommend it.
