We bought our first Sony Shower Radio in September, 2007. Right from the start we enjoyed the sound and clarity of the broadcasts and knew we wanted another one. I finally got around to ordering the second one recently. By the way...we are still using the original batteries that we put in the first one a year ago.. and it is used every day. We purchased this Sony Shower radio for our bath because of lack of a convenient power outlet and do not actually use it in the shower. It has great reception and though battery powered, it does not use batteries quickly. We have had it for 6 weeks and are still on the first set of batteries. It was a little more expensive than other shower radios but well worth it.Customer Review: Great radio!

I've had shower radios in the past but this one is so much better than any I've had. The sound is wonderful! I only paid slightly more for this radio than the others but it's so much better and easier to operate.
I now have a portable radio,which I think everyone should have,and it works in the shower so I can be using it daily.This is worth the money!

We have had several of these for years. In fact, my 83 year old mother has used hers so long she has worn the buttons through. She uses it on her kitchen table, and it's about the only radio she can manage with low vision. I had no idea this model was still available. We'll buy several for Christmas this year, so she can stay tuned to NPR for the rest of her life!Customer Review: EXCELLENT!

Excellent value! Extremely easy to use; never even read the manual. Sound quality is good-very good. Reception is very good. Digital presets are a must have for shower and wet hands. Clock/tuner is large and easy to read. Volume control is easy to use.
I would definitely recommend this product. Only wish it would incorporate an anti-fog mirror!
