Customer Review: I was embarrassed to even open these awful headphones

I don't think I've ever been more insulted by a product in my life. I do extensive audio work and love my Sony MDR-7506, so when I asked my girlfriend to pick up a pair of kids headphones for my nephew I suggested Sony.
I couldn't believe how cheap these were when I got them. Unfortunately, she had lost the receipt and I couldn't return them. That they cost $20 at Best Buy just added salt to the wounds.
The plastic is flimsy, the foam over the the earphones is abrasive, the sound quality is just awful, and the cord is really short.
I will definitely think twice before buying a Sony product again.
The sound reduction does work well, however.

These are the worst headphones from a quality and volume standpoint I've ever used. The max volume is extremely low and sound quality of poor. It could be the way they are poorly made and/or that the fact the mini plug connector is falling off after the very first time they were used. The only plusses is they are generally comfortable to my child and easy to adjust to her size of head. Great if you want some play headphones that don't work.
Buy something else.

I bought 2 pairs for my 2 and 4 year old girls to use while in the van traveling. They fit them fine enough BUT once you start driving the combination of noise from the road, radio, other DVD players, or simply someone in the vehicle talking, makes it so they can't hear a thing. I am very unhappy with this product and wish there was a way to get my money back since I couldn't return them to the store.
DON'T waste you money.
