Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sony MDR-E828LP Fontopia Earbuds with Winding CaseCustomer Review: Suprisingly Durable Summary: 5 Stars
I've tried a lot of earbud styled headphones, and this pair has lasted me a year now and it is still going. It has surprised me with its durability, and I have been wearing these to sleep for that long, and I haven't had any problems. At first I didn't like these, I actually got them by mistake as I had a similarly named Sony Earbud set. I didn't like them because I felt that its particular style was going to fall out of my ear, but when I wear them I tend to forget they are there unless the cord snags on something, which was another thing that has surprised me. The price for this specific pair has actually gone down from when I originally purchased it. If they are ever to fail on me, I would most likely get a new pair. I like this pair for its ability to let me hear outside noise, and I use in-ear monitors when I don't want to hear anything. So, they are indeed a decent pair if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money, and you're music player or whatever has a good equalizer, and or you're not too picky regarding sound.
Customer Review: Superb Earphones Summary: 5 Stars
I have several pairs of the Sony MDR-E828LP earphones - that's how much I love them! They are a good fit, comfortable to wear, and most of all they sound really, really good.
The frequency response of 12 Hz - 22,000 Hz is excellent for producing deep bass sounds while capturing all the nuances of higher treble sounds.
- Winding Storage Case
The case comes in real handy for storing your earphones when you need to bring them with you. It's easy to operate and allows you to quickly reel in the cord for the earphones. Its clear plastic top has a circular depression that acts as a "crank."
The MDR-E828LP may be cheap, but the sound production from these are superb. This is a case in point where the adage "You get what you pay for" doesn't always hold true. If you're leery about getting these because of the low price, rest assured that these are very high quality earphones that are a real bang for your buck. Highly Recommended!
Customer Review: Cheap Price - EXCELLENT Audio Summary: 5 Stars
Don't be fooled by the pricetag - these are high quality earbuds. They offer some of the best bass i have found in earbuds for under $100. I am also a big fan of the slightly oblong speaker shape that allows you to snugly fit them into your ear without pushing real deep. Most earbuds are too large and push out on the cartilage, causing pain after about a half-hour of listening. These are the perfect size.
I generally stray from earbuds as more and more research has shown how detrimental they are to your hearing. With these, I can monitor the sound level (usually at about 60% on my ipod's volume scale) without compromising audio quality and the much sought after bass. The carrying case is very functional and super easy to use.
The only issue that I would forsee here is in quality control over a bad batch of speakers. Check the packaging as mine came with a warranty (although i purchased them at a small, discount odds-and-ends shop in NYC)
Customer Review: Great Headphones, here's why... Summary: 5 Stars
To start off the price of these is a GREAT deal to compare with the sound that you're going to get. The first thing you will notice is the sleek style of the silver and black which is a plus. (oh, ear size makes no difference, they fit fine in both) Now, once you put them on the first you notice is extremely clear cut sounds, a POWERFUL bass and great volume. I actually use it with my CD player and keep it on lvl 2/10 because of the great sound quality. Now the case, the only thing the picture may mislead you about is that both the earphones and the jack are placed inside the case, the picture of course is for advertisment, but just to make it clear. The case is pocket size and has a place where to place your finger to wind it up. You will be extremely happy with these and should be them once the new stock arrives online. Want it faster? Go to the store. You will love the compact and great quality for such a low price. ( I'm listening to them while typing this)
Customer Review: Best Earbuds I Have EVER Owned Summary: 5 Stars
I have had an iPod mini for over a year now and everyone knows iPods come with the classic white Apple earbuds. Well, one day, I missplaced my Apple earbuds and borrowed my dad's earbuds (the Sony ones on this page). I needed to borrow them 'cause I was getting dragged to my little sister's softball tournament which was pretty far away. The catch here? My dad drives a huge diesel truck. The NOISY ones. So we all got into the truck and I tried out the headphones and I was just blown away. I could actually HEAR my music. Unlike the Apple ones, these were quiet and comfortable, actually shaped like an ear. They even come with a cool case and little plushy things. The only bad thing about the little black plush things is they slip off the earbuds very easily and will eventually disspear. It's a pity too, they were very comfy. But even without the plushies, the earbuds were still comfy.
Basically, I highly recommend these lovely, lovely little earbuds.
