Customer Review: Didn't work well for me

After doing too much research I bought this pair to replace my Koss. I absolutely wanted a y-cord and not an unequal length cord (that my Koss buds have). Too bad for me, these Sony were lacking bass. I don't want insane base, but "non-existant" bass doesn't work for me. The treble was good, but for me high treble gives me a headache. I returned these and went back to my annoying cord, but great sounding Koss.Customer Review: Not bad but they stopped working

The buds themselves are OK but not sensational. They do feel more substantial and comfortable than most ear buds that I've used. I don't have a tremendous history of ear bud use. After 5 months, though, of gentle use one of the ear pieces stopped working. It would be nice to have a more durable product when you are paying a bit (just a bit) more.

I'm a pretty committed exerciser. I bought these to use in the gym for lifting, running, and cycling. Because of this, they got extensive use and were soaked with sweat pretty often. This was my second pair and the left ear died just like the first pair. I'm switching to another brand to see if they hold up any better.

I just hate those long 2 foot or even 3 ft. cords made for giants.
Finally, headphones for those of us who are never more than 10 inches away from our mp3 player! And the cord is so thin that it feels just like a loose hair blowing against your face and neck - I even hear it while I listen! Awesome.
Too bad they fall out and onto the floor every time I bob or nod my head (not a smart j-cord, simple y-harness, like with horses (just not long enough to stay up around your neck and shoulder (if you have a neck or shoulders unlike most sony people these days)). I guess I will learn to control myself if I want to keep giving sony money!
