Yes, the price is a bit high, but these are high quality headphones. The single line out the left ear is the best and reduces any chance of catching or tangles. The sound is unbelievable, best from any headphones I own. I use them with my DJ MP3 player for great sound quality from high quality MP3s.
As for comfort, I can see why people don't like them, but I use them in the gym and for my ears, they fit nicely with little to no discomfort, depending on how they are sitting on your head.
If your like me and can't wear ear buds cause they fall out, these are a great alternative for high quality audio.

The cat chewed through the cord of the first pair, and that's the only reason they were "broken". I still use the second pair several times a week, on walks or around the house. For their size and unobtrusiveness, the sound is quite good. But do what I did: The second you take them out of the box, TEAR OUT those little D-shaped plastic wedges that are supposed to dig down behind your ears. Just grab ahold of each one tightly and tear it right out of the headphone arm. The headphones will stay on just as firmly, and your ears will be MUCH more comfortable. Did this with both pairs I've owned and they have yet to slip off.Customer Review: THE BEST!

People, if you're thinking of purchasing those headphones...you made the right desicion! I bought the headphones 2 months ago, and I'm TOTALLY satisfied with them. They are way too comfortable and the best for working out or dancing! they never drop. These headphones provide you with a great deep sound and a great kind of bass, of course you must take in consideration the type of the player u're using, so don't judge it by using a cranky old cheap player and say "Oooh! these are bad ones"

not being able to replace my koss head phones i decided to try these based on a workmate's recommendation. these may not sound better than a fifteen dollar pair but are infinitely more comfortable and sound every bit as good. for those of you that find the ear clips annoying (which i kinda did) and won't be bouncing around, those clips can be carefully removed improving the fit and comfort. however, i can feel that they would be pretty effective at keeping them on you if you were doing something more than lounging. all in all the little extra cash was worth the comfort.Customer Review: Product has improved

I purchased these head phones about 3 months ago and I would agree with all the reviews. You can't listen to the head phones for more than 30 mins with out pain in the back of your ears.
My cats recently got a hold of them and I purchased a new set yesterday. The backing is now soft rubber as opposed to hard plastic. I have had no discomfort using them as of yet. Looks like the only thing wrong with this product has been fixed.
Before purchasing I would make sure you are getting the soft rubber and not hard plastic ear clips.
