Customer Review: I LOVE THEM!
Summary: 5 Stars

These puppies are well worth the money spent for my purposes - watching TV at night. My husband likes to go to bed at a normal hour which is 10 pm, according to him. I, on the other hand, have a much later internal sleep pattern. We've had to make compromises to keep the peace but neither of us is very happy about it.

We've tried plenty of TV headphones but none of them were keepers. These Sony headphones are great! It was easy to connect to our TV (we have a LCD Samsung) and were up and running after charging for a couple of hours. I use them most nights without any complaints from my husband who requires complete silence to sleep. When watching scary movies, the great stereo effect of these headphones is suitablely spooky. The volume is a rotating wheel on the right headphone next to the on/off toggle. These controls can be easily found and used in the dark. It has a small red light when they are on. The headphones are marked "left" and "right" for proper usage and it makes a difference if you wear them backwards. The headphones rest in a fitted tray that also charges them for future use.

I have been married close to 10 years now and my nocturnal nature has been an issue from day 1. My husband added these to his Wish List and thankfully they were purchased. Marital discord has been avoided and it cost under $40!

Customer Review: Where have these been all my life?? So far so good!
Summary: 5 Stars

I just received them today, so I cant say much about the long term performance. I have to say, though, that these are fantastic in terms of convenience. I walked around my room (about 15'x15') then through a narrow doorway through a thin curtain! I was still able to hear it clearly. Of course a few more feet back and the sound cut off. But then I moved the curtain over, and I was able to go as far as the kitchen which is approx another 15' and keep in mind taht this is through a narrow doorway. I'm sure if this was in a completely open space, I could probably have gotten 30-40 ft. And this has only been charging for about 3 hrs.

In terms of sound, its fine. When compared this $40 headphone to my gf's $250 bose, it obviously isnt as good. It's fine for music/movies, plain and simple. I'd wish it had more bass, however. But it's so convenient, people say you have to sit directly in front of the pc, which doesnt seem to be true for me. I sat on my bed and listened to it fine. I simply just moved the base facing the bed and it was crystal clear (how hard is it to do that?)

If you want a headset that goes everywhere, get bluetooth, but good luck finding one with a replaceable battery. I love how you can use your own standard AAA battery, so no fears about that.

So far, I love it. Great value.

Customer Review: Miracle
Summary: 5 Stars

Everyone has different expectations of comfort and sound quality. I purchased these to watch tv. Being able to watch tv at a reasonable volume with out disturbing others is amazing. I wish I had got these sooner. I am beyond impressed with the value. I probably could have paid double or triple and not gotten something much better.

Some product notes:
- It uses infrared light to transmit the signal. As long as you are in the room, you will have sound. When you leave the room, you won't.
- It comes with a NiMH AAA battery. You can either uses that, or use disposable AAA batteries. The manual does not tell you how to charge the battery to get maximum life out of it.
- It comes with a headphone jack and component type cable. It gives you flexibility in how you plug the device in. I went straight from my satellite receiver. Doing that allows me to adjust tv volume and headphone volume independently.

The only cons is that the headphones feel a little plastic and cheap. It feels like you need to be careful not to break them. They fit on the ear but it's not a nice cup over the ear, it's just foam. So if you look down, they may just fall off your head. If you can just accept the product for what it is, I think you will be very satisfied.

I will probably purchase a second pair.

Customer Review: Wireless headphones
Summary: 5 Stars

These headphones do not possess the latest technology, but just work. You do need 'line of sight' to the transmitter, for them to work, but that is just about the only con I've found. They are really comfortable to wear, even after a few hours, but the best thing they have is the battery life.

With the supplied rechargeable batteries, they are supposed to last up to 40 hours on a single charge. The longest I've used them is for 12 hours straight and for another 8 hours the next day before recharging them and did not fail. Recharging them is a matter of leaving them on the cradle/transmitter overnight, and they will be ready for the next day. If you go with regular batteries (optional) they are supposed to last for over 60 hours before they need to be replaced, which is a great option, allowing you to use regular batteries after the rechargeable ones finally wear out and get another set.

I bought them to use with my computer to replace regular headphones, and installation was as simple as plugging in the connectors, and the transmitter power supply. They just worked. I've also hooked them up to my stereo and TV with the same ease, and am seriously thinking about purchasing another pair to save me from plugging and unplugging them from different appliances.
