This is a great pair of wireless headphones for the money.
They enclose your whole ears and are comfortable to wear. However it felt kind of bulky and when I first put them on. If there's one area I'd like them to improve on, it's the size and weight.
It is very user-friendly as the headphones automatically turns itself on when you wear them and turns off when taking it off. If you're using the included rechargeable batteries, it also charges up when you place it on the base station and there's no need to take it off since it stops charging when the batteries are full. The strap adjusts to your head so it fits anyone comfortably. There is also no need to calibrate or tune as it does so automatically without any problems. The set includes everything needed to connect to any av source so you don't have to buy them separately.
These headphones use infrared so you need to be in the same room with the base station and not have anything obstruct it. There is also a lesser amount of static noise when compared to RF-based headphones and virtually no chance of interference with other wireless devices. So, these headphones are the perfect choice for use when watching tv.
The sound quality is very good and the SRS function enhances the experience. I have not encountered any problems with it. I hear reports of static or hissing from other reviews, but those people probably didn't bother to read the instruction manual. You have to turn up the volume on the audio source as loud as possible before adjusting the volume on the headphones, and that will get rid of the static. I have no problems with the way the charger is set up as well. The vibration function is nice but I can't see it as really useful except for video games.
Be aware that some of the information Amazon provides is inaccurate. They state that the headphones run on 1 AA battery, but it is actually 2 AAA batteries. They also say that the battery life is 30 hours with the rechargeable batteries and 100 hours with alkaline batteries, but the manual lists it as 26 hours with rechargeable batteries and 45 hours with alkaline batteries (vibration turned off). I bought this product based on their info and was a little disappointed when I received it, but it still works well.
