Customer Review: Great Portable Headphones for the Price
Summary: 5 Stars

Comfortable and compact - I could wear these all day - very secure fit. I think they sound great too.

My favorite feature has to be the way they connect in the back with a cable so that only one cable runs from the headphones down into your device (Zen Vision M for example). It seems like Sony always does this one cable thing and I like it. Cables annoy me and I've always been annoyed by a cable running down from each ear. I've bought many Sony headphones and I've been pleased with all of the purchases.

For the price, these are easy to recommend - you can't go wrong.

Note / Pet Peeve not specific to this product:
What's up with the interchangeable headphone caps that every company keeps including these days? Who cares? These interchangeable color headphone caps go straight into the trash as far as I'm concerned. Why would I want to change the color of my headphones? Are they supposed to be designer headphones at $10 a pair? Seriously? Headphone makers should toss this idea and then lower the price to pass on the savings to the consumer - with the savings, maybe I can splurge and buy a postage stamp ;>

Customer Review: good for people who don't like earbuds... solid stuff
Summary: 5 Stars

1. These headphones have really nice sound quality- they don't block out much background noise unless you have your music turned up really loud to begin with, but personally I like that because I can still hear if somebody's trying to get my attention... they sound so much better than the sound coming straight out of a laptop

2. I've been carrying these around in a ziploc bad in my backpack to school every day for a month, and they show no signs of breaking so they seem pretty durable to me... just make sure you don't get the cord tangled or lose the colored earcaps (the blue ones are pretty, by the way)

3. the way that the ear pieces are linked together rather than both being linked to the cord separately does seem odd at first, but I like it because you can sit them around the back of your neck and then just let them dangle when you take them off, rather than having to put them completely down in your lap or something

4. They can get uncomfortable with extended periods of use and hurt your ears, but so will just about any headphones... overall I am very glad I bought them :)

Customer Review: 6 years of use and still great!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've had these headphones for six years and they're still working very well! Eventually the foam cover on the earpiece tears away, but this only happened to me because of heavy use and not taking very good care of them when they ended up at the bottom of my bag. The Apple earbuds that come with iPods would hurt my ears after awhile and slip out of my ears while I was running, which is when I use my iPod the most, but these are very comfortable and don't fall off your ears while I'm exercising. My only complaint in the "ease of use" category is that the cord gets tangled easily, but that's just a small price to pay for having a long cord. The sound quality is lower than on other products primarily because the speakers are sitting against your ears, rather than inside of them or surrounding them with sound. They're not loud enough to use on an airplane, which is unfortunate, but for general use (and with the low price) they're a really great value and I highly recommend them!

Customer Review: JUST what I was looking for!
Summary: 5 Stars

I was considering not buying these headphones because of the negative reviews I read on this page, but was tempted by the price and figured I'd return them if I wasn't satisfied. I needn't even have worried.

First off, these are quite possibly the most comfortable heaphones you will ever wear. I often forget that I'm wearing them at all... er, just don't don them while wearing lots of earcuffs.

Secondly, the sound is just perfect. It's clear, though not extremely bassy, and crisp. What's more, the design allows me to hear outside noises fairly well, so I can tell if a car is coming or if someone is calling my name. These are the only clip-on headphones I have ever worn where I prefer the sound they normally give over the sound when I press them closer to my ears.

Last of all, these headphones are, well, pretty. They're silver with a strong silver cord and optional dark blue plates to accent them with. I highly recommend them to you.

Customer Review: Most comfortable headphones I've ever had
Summary: 5 Stars

These are probably the most comfortable headphones I've ever tried. They slip on over the ear, and you almost forget they are there. Sound quality is pretty decent for $15 dollar headphones, they're actually than the $40 dollar KOSS headphones I had before these. I broke my first set, and promptly replaced them, and this set has lasted me for over 4 years of very heavy abuse. They tend to act like a set of weights, and when one falls the other goes with it twice as hard. I've run over the cord with my computer chair, sat on them, accidentally doused them in water, and a whole other variety of hazards. And through all that, they work as well as they day I bought them.

I have absolutely no issue with these headphones except maybe that they're kind of bland looking. It still doesn't stop them from being the best bargain I've ever purchased. And this is coming from a guy who basically avoids buying anything Sony. Highly recommended for cheap travel headphones.
