Customer Review: Best-Designed Clip-On Headphones, Period.

If you can't stand earbuds, especially for exercising, then these are the headphones for you.
The best headphones are the ones that "disappear" as soon as you put them on. These Sony's are a perfect example of this; they are incredibly comfortable to the point of being unnoticeable during normal use.
I bought these headphones to replace an old set of Sony MDR-Q22LP w.Ear Headphones with Interchangeable Headphone Caps's, my former favorite set of clip-ons. First off, the sound quality is pretty much identical. Nothing to write home about, but decent enough for a pair of 'phones I use when running. Set your iPod EQ to 'Flat' and go.
The clip-on form factor allows some outside sound in, which is useful for safety purposes when running outdoors.
What sets Sony MDR-Q68LW Clip-on Style Headphone with Retractable Cord apart is the retractable cable feature, which makes them, in my opinion, the de facto choice for exercise headphones. The old model mentioned above had relatively long cords, often to the point of them being too long for running. With the retracting system, this is a non-issue.
