I read other reviews and researched other mini systems before settling on this as my garage sound system. Sound far exceeds my expectations, considering the harsh acoustics of my garage, and the relatively low price of the system. Some limitations, which include only one aux. input on the front (none on back), and the speaker wires are not plugged into the speakers but hard wired to them, requiring some crude splicing to add length to them. Still, awesome system that sound great for not much $$$.Customer Review: Excellent Home Stereo

Excellent product for the money! It is aesthetically appealing and the sound quality is great. It provides a great digital tuner and the CD player never skips a beat. It provides good sound quality along with the power you need for listening to music/radio within your home and in any room...even your kitchen. For the money, it is an excellent buy. The tuner picks up signals very well. My older stereo unit wouldn't pick up certain AM talk radio stations, but this unit does it very clear.Customer Review: GREAT for the price!

Thank God I read the customer reviews! And no, it is NOT "mini"! I thought I knew what I wanted, but I get confused with any description which is remotely technical. My son set this up in maybe 15 minutes. I thought he explained it too fast. But what he told me was all I needed. This gives me the sound and features I wanted. The remote is great. Other products I shopped offered either too much or too little. I know music better than I know technology. Everything sounds great on this.Customer Review: GREAT SOUNDING SYSTEM

I BOUGHT THIS SYSTEM AND COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED WITH IT, THE SOUND IS GREAT,EASY TO USE,THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THAT I WISH THERE WAS A CASSETTE PLAYER INCLUDED FOR THE THOUSANDS OF TAPES I OWN BUT OTHER THEN THAT I DON'T HAVE ANY COMPLAINTS AND SONY HAS ALWAYS BEEN A REPUTABLE NAME FOR PURCHASING STEREO SYSTEMS.IF YOU'RE A MUSIC LOVER LOOKING FOR A GOOD SYSTEM AT A DECENT PRICE DON'T HESITATE,YOU'LL ENJOY THIS FOR MANY YEARS PLUS THERE IS A 3 DISC CD PLAYER WHICH IS COOL TOO.Customer Review: Dance to the music!

I got this for my nine year old grandson and his parents were blown away! They were not expecting their son's boom-box to sound as good as this one did. Suggestion: You can get away with a much less expensive boombox for a nine-year old. He loves this particular boombox, but is too young to differentiate the sound when there is nothing to compare it to. If this is going to someone older, go for it! Great sound for the money. One of the better mini-stereo's I've listened to.
