I bought this system as a gift and recently had the good fortune to use it in its natural setting. The sound quality is great, it's extremely intuitive to use, and you can plug your mp3 player into it. It's really everything I expected from a mini-system like this. For the money it is a great system, not real pleased with the looks of the speakers, but the sound is great. It takes a while to figure out how to use the remote to change stations, but the remote is handy. Would not hesitate to recommend the system. I haven't owned a "traditional" stereo system for many, many years and am surprised at the depth, clarity and quality of sound this "compact" unit puts out - and at a very reasonable price. I was very impressed with the service. I ordered this stereo for my daughter for Christmas. I ordered it on 12/6/07 and received it the next day. She is thrilled with it. It is exactly what was expected--quality sound at a reasonable price. I would definitely order again from Amazon.com!
