Won this camera at a charity auction about 4 months ago for fallen Police Officers either hurt or killed in the line of duty with the intention of giving it to my nephew who started college this year..said he would rather have the cash and can't print what I told him..so found it in a desk drawer a couple of weeks ago and got it out and gave it a try..posted some pics I took and several video's on You Tube under (Fbi039)..quite unpressed with the quality of the pics for a fixed lens camera and the photo editing software that comes with the camera is very user friendsly..the video quality is also not that all that bad when you consider the limitations of this unit..."BEST" when used in daylight for optimization results..but this is not semi pro camera. Very small and easily fits in a shirt pocket or front pocket in a pair of jeans..have decided to leave it in the glove box in the car for when we are out and about and want to catch those unexpected moments. Another thing while I am thinking of it is beats my camera phone when shopping as my better half (her opinion) and I do not always agree on some major purchases and can hook it up to the plasma set and show her first..saves me from taking things back so much and can also use my SDMC cards in it. Also when you have saved video on your computer and play on the television using an HDMI cable not all that bad..not a bad price here on Amazon...I paid $250 but at a charity auction for a good cause..camera is worth it in my opinion as it meets my expections for its intended use.
