Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sony Micro Vault Tiny 2 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive with Virtual Expander USM2GH/T2

Customer Review: Good value for the money!
Summary: 5 Stars

While I have noticed that this unit is not the fastest, the transfer time I think it still pretty reasonable. It is more durable then I see most people giving it credit for, and it does not come out of the carry case as easily as some people say it will.

All in all, I have been impressed with this unit and would buy it again if I had the choose. Two gig, for me, is a nice size and is considerably cheaper than stepping up to the 4 gig option. I don't like that you cannot pick the color, but at the end of the day who cares about that?

Definitely a good product and worth what they charge for it here.

Customer Review: Wow factor tiny.
Summary: 5 Stars

I've had this little drive for almost a year now. It works great with my mac and xp.

Size matters... it's like DynaTAC 8000X --> StarTAC. Trust me... you will never go back.

Tiny. So small you won't feel it in your pocket. I have abused mine (run it through a load of laundry & dryer) and it still works like a champ.

Techie little lesson learned: If you have a a network drive setup on e:\ it will not mount. Just disconnect the network drive and set it up on another letter. That resolves the issue.

Customer Review: Micro Sized....Monster Value!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've had the 2 gig model for about three years and I love it! I trimmed the littler rubber-like case and carry this in my wallet so I have it with me all the time. I can't even tell it's in my wallet but I can tell you it's great to have that drive available when you need it.

So being in my wallet means it's sat on, abused, dropped, etc. and it works every time. Try that with a "regular" style thick USB drive.

So if you're looking for a drive that is reliable and easy to carry, this is it.

Customer Review: Great to use in the car stereo
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought the Micro Vault Tiny to store music and playback in the car. I have a head unit with a USB port and I didn't want a flash drive that would stick out of the unit and get in the way. I played with USB extension cables but I didn't like the additional clutter from the wiring.

The Micro Vault Tiny sticks out less than an inch so it doesn't get in the way of the other controls or risk being damaged accidently. The Tiny is simply a great design for this application!

Customer Review: Awesome flash drive
Summary: 5 Stars

This is tiny, extremely tiny. It makes every other drive on the US market look bloated in comparison, and it's (at least now) the smallest available 2 GB drive on the market. Look at your USB port. It's half that thickness. I keep mine in my wallet, and it's just about the thickness of two credit cards.

And it's also pretty fast.

Buy it.
