I've used these and the Sony Premium Gold disks for nearly 5 years and I've played them both hundreds of times. Never a failure with either type.
I don't see any reason to pay the extra cost of the Gold version. These lower cost versions work just as well and work great.
I actually like to ability to organize my music on this style/format as it's much easier to keep track of fewer titles by putting all the common styles on the same disk if I want.
