I purchased this battery to use with my DCS HX1 camera, which when purchased shipped with a NPFH30 H, but now ships with a NPFH50 H.
I was initially apprehensive, due to the dimensions displayed showing "31.8mm x 55.5mm x 45.0mm", but the Sony web site says the DSC-HX1 battery is "31.8mm x 15.5mm x 45.0mm". As the battery goes in the camera it has to fit.
But as the picture looked about the right size, and the NPFH70 H battery is bigger, but had noted smaller dimensions, I assumed the details were wrong.
Once the battery arrived, I was pleased had purchased it, as it did fit, and the reported battery life seems to be near double the older NPFH30 H battery.
