I bought it to replace the original NP-FH60 that came with my Sony HDR-UX5 camcorder. The NP-FH70 lasts more that twice the original battery. Now I can record at least two mini-DVD full of short sequences, even indoors with an attached Sony HVL-HL1 video-light of high consumption. I purchased this as a backup battery for my new Sony Camcorder for a tour of Israel. I used it as the primary battery because it had twice as much life as the battery that came with the camera I purchased. I bought this battery to use with my Sony DCR-SX41 on a 7 day cruise. I fully charged the battery in the hotel room the night before we sailed. I used my camera every day and recorded a little more than 10GB of video ~ all on one charge! Awesome. Amazing. Love this little guy!

Excellent battery. Exact match for manufacturer battery, but saves at least 25%. Info Lithium sends battery charging information to the camcorder, so you aren't surprised with a dead battery.

I bought Sony camcorder HDR-CX7 that came with NPFH60. The battery only lasts 90min. That is too short for me to take a movie for my family. Therefore, I ordered NPFH70 from Amazon. I'm now satisfied with the shooting time from this battery that can last more than 2 hours.
