Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Sony NTM-900 900MHz BabyCall System!Customer Review: Finally a Monitor I can live with! Summary: 5 Stars
After returning 2 other monitors (Fisher Price and Summer Infant), we have a winner! The Sony has no static and is of much better quality than the others we tried. We live in an apt complex, so the 9 channels are a great option (even though I haven't had to change the channels yet).
The fisher price monitor picked up an AM radio station, and the Summer Infant monitor changed channels frequently, which was always an attention-grabber, also the LED light on the Summer Infant model made it look like a thunder storm when baby woke up at night.
Those were the complaints I had with the others, now with the Sony we are very happy. No problems at all!
Customer Review: The Best! Summary: 5 Stars
I just went to grab this monitor as the baby went down, thought about how great it has been, and went online specifically to write a review. It is our second monitor, and it is the only one to have. The quality is excellent. We have had little trouble with interference anywhere in our 3500 sq ft house. With regard to those who think it picks up too much, you just have to turn the volume down. Besides, too much is better than not enough. The best attribute is that it recharges itself at night when in the nursery, which is more than enough power to let you use it on batteries all day. It was recommended to us, and we highly recommend it to others.
Customer Review: Great Monitor Summary: 5 Stars
I actually had a hard time picking out a monitor, and saw mixed reviews on almost all monitors. I live in a 2 floor townhouse -with very thick walls and floors, and use this constantly during nap time/bed time. It lasts a long time (about a week for me) before it needs to be re-charged. I can hear everything upstairs, even from several rooms away - if it's turned loud enough, I can hear him breathing! I haven't had any problems with "out of range" issues - the only thing I have to be careful of is using the cordless telephone near it - that seems to interfere with the monitor signal - which probably is true of all of them.
Customer Review: Best Monitor on the Market Summary: 5 Stars
I had tried several other monitors purchased at local discount stores and found that their range was short and the reception awful.
I tried the this monitor and it was terrific. It goes outside with me, over 150 feet with clear reception and very little static. The batteries last a long time as well.
The best thing about them, is that you can get two bases and use the receptor to listen to up to three children. I now have two children and can change the channel at the bottom of the monitor and listen to each individual child as the sleep in different parts of the house....bonus!
Customer Review: Terrific monitor! Summary: 5 Stars
I originally bought the Graco Family Monitor, but it was terribly staticy and it picked up my neighbor's baby's cries. I was very disappointed with that monitor because it was nearly impossible to hear my baby when she cried. I then bought this one and was very impressed and would happily recommend it. When you use the voice activated feature it is absolutely silent until your baby makes any verbal noise. The reception is crystal clear. It also has a proximity alarm which allows you to know if your are out of range and/or if the base is turned off. Do yourself a favor and buy this monitor!
